Effective Date: June 2025
Data Use Restrictions — We Do Not Sell Your Information
CareFunding does NOT sell, rent, trade, lease, license, or otherwise misuse consumer personal data to unrelated third parties for secondary marketing purposes. Your personal information submitted through this platform is used exclusively to facilitate a matching request to participating network providers as part of the service you requested.
We do not monetize your personal data through data brokers, advertising networks, or secondary data markets. No consumer personal data is transferred to any party for purposes unrelated to evaluating your matching request.

SMS opt-in data is used solely to deliver the specific communications you have consented to receive from CareFunding (such as status updates on your matching request). This data is stored securely and is not combined with third-party marketing databases.
- Opting Out: You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent.

Information We Collect
When you submit a request through our secure form, we collect the personal and financial information you provide — such as your name, contact details, address, and income information — for the sole purpose of facilitating a matching request to participating third-party network providers.
We may also collect non-personally identifiable information automatically, including browser type, IP address, referring URLs, and platform interaction data through standard analytical script markers (such as cookies and tracking pixels). This data is used to improve platform performance and measure the effectiveness of our service.
256-Bit Encryption & Data Security
All data transmitted through CareFunding is protected using industry-standard 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption. We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, but we take commercially reasonable steps to protect your information.
How We Share Your Information
When you submit a request, your information is transmitted securely to one or more participating network marketplace partners so that they may evaluate whether to extend a financing offer. Beyond this core matching function, CareFunding does not share your information for unrelated purposes.
We may share information with service providers who assist in operating our platform (such as analytics and hosting providers), subject to appropriate confidentiality and security agreements consistent with GLBA requirements. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Cookies & Analytical Script Markers
Our platform uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to analyze platform usage and improve performance. You may configure your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain platform features.
FCRA Consumer Rights
Participating network providers may obtain consumer reports as part of their evaluation process under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). You have the right to know if information in a consumer report has been used against you, to access your consumer report files, and to dispute inaccurate information. See our FCRA Disclosure for full details.
